Andrew Hawkins

A barrister by training, Andrew Hawkins was founder and chairman of the polling firm ComRes from 2003 until its acquisition by Savanta in 2019.  He is also on the Board of Premier Radio and Mission Aviation Fellowship UK. During his time running ComRes Andrew advised numerous political parties, candidates, media organisations, governments, companies, and charities. His media clients included the BBC, ITV News, CNN, Sky, The Telegraph, The Independent, and The Mirror.

In 2021 Andrew launched a new campaign platform, Democracy 3.0, bringing together online petitioning with crowdfunding to support campaigns that promote good causes. The platform has already won several campaigns including to return singing to churches and lifting the cap on youth camp numbers. Visit www.democracythree.org for more information.
