Andrew Henley
Andrew is Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship and Economics at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. He studied Industrial Economics at the University of Nottingham 45 years ago and followed that with a PhD at the University of Warwick. He moved to Wales with his family 30 years ago and was employed as business school dean in two other Welsh universities. Over his career he taught a wide range of different subjects in business studies and economics, to students and to business leaders, as well as working as a government advisor in Wales. His research work has specialised in entrepreneurship and small business performance, and he is a past president of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He has been a member of the Association for Christian Economics for many years and written extensively on Christian faith and economics.
He lives in the beautiful county of Ceredigion and is a member of St Michael's Aberystwyth where he serves as church treasurer. He is married to Sue and has three children, the eldest of whom is an ordained member of clergy in the Diocese of Monmouth.
