Dr Jonathan Chaplin
Dr Jonathan Chaplin is a member of the Centre for Faith in Public Life at Wesley House, Cambridge, and Senior Fellow of the Canadian Christian think-tank Cardus. He is former Director of the Kirby Laing Institute for Christian Ethics, Cambridge and has been Associate Fellow of the British religion and society think-tank Theos, and Associate Professor of Political Theory at the Institute for Christian Studies, Toronto. He has written widely on faith and politics for public and scholarly outlets. His latest books are Beyond Establishment: Resetting Church-State Relations in England (SCM 2022), and Faith in Democracy: Framing a Politics of Deep Diversity (SCM 2021). He has written a blog series on Faith in Democracy for Theos.
