Dr Hope McGovern
Dr. Hope McGovern completed her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge in 2025, specializing in Natural Language Processing. Before arriving in the UK, she was a Fulbright Scholar in Vienna, and previously studied engineering physics at Brown University. Alongside her technical work, Hope has a longstanding interest in writing and the humanities, having edited and contributed to a literary arts magazine during her undergraduate years. In early 2026, she joined Mistral AI as an Applied AI Scientist. Hailing from Haddonfield, New Jersey, she now lives in London with her husband.
